This dramatic wall hanging (approximately 9″ x 40″) features poppies silhouetted against a full moon on a lilac background. A stunning piece to hang in a living room or a bedroom.
This wall hanging looks eye-catching in a lilac Moda fabric from their ‘Grunge’ range with a marbled black fabric for the silhouettes of the poppies. The wadding is an 80/20 mix and the backing fabric is a plain cream calico. Black bias binding completes the project. Glue granules and metallic foils are included to give a shimmer around the setting sun.
The pattern contains several pages of written instructions, diagrams and templates This kit is suitable for people that can use a sewing machine for straight and zigzag stitch, have the basics of machine quilting using a walking foot, the basics of rotary cutting and fusible web applique. However each part of the creative process is clearly described in the pattern.
